Tolga Bergin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enis Behiç İnan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Hasankeyf's Metin Kutlughan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Güralp İstikbal. Güralp İstikbal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Metin Kutlughan in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Güralp İstikbal saved Kavaklidere from getting behind. After having played for 34 minutes, Tolga Bergin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kavaklidere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolga Bergin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hasankeyf's Ufuk Kuntay got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 47th minute, Afşin Şerefhan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hasankeyf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Eren Siret made the kick off in the second half. When Afşin Şerefhan fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hasankeyf's protests and gave Afşin Şerefhan a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Hasankeyf got a freekick which was hit by Afşin Şerefhan. Erdem Berksoy charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erdem Berksoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hasankeyf booed when Kavaklidere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdem Berksoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güralp İstikbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metin Kutlughan in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kavaklidere's goalkeeper Güralp İstikbal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Tolga Bergin notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Hasankeyf's Enis Behiç İnan. Enis Behiç İnan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Metin Kutlughan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Güralp İstikbal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kavaklidere's Tansel Özbas got a free kick in the 75th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ziya Toköz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Güralp İstikbal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 82 minutes into the game, Tolga Bergin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Enis Behiç İnan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hasan Ergökmen's late challenge caught a Kavaklidere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hasan Ergökmen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Hasan Ergökmen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enis Behiç İnan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aras Özaltan. Güralp İstikbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metin Kutlughan in the 90th minute of play. If Metin Kutlughan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hasankeyf had won after a very even match.
