But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selami Regaip couldn't finish the play. Bahceköy SK's Nedim Müslim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derviş Atasan in the 25th minute of play. Derviş Atasan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nedim Müslim having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Bahceköy SK got a freekick which was hit by Berkem Hekimbaşı. Selami Regaip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfi Adar having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Gürün was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keramettin Arslanoğlu to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Gürün's goal looked a bit too open when Mahmut Sara came free, but Seyfi Adar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mahmut Sara in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Seyfi Adar saved Gürün from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Derviş Atasan to strike the kick off in the second half. Seyfi Adar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selami Regaip in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Derviş Atasan took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Nedim Müslim to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Gürün getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Vecdi Zülfü hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Abdullah Özkurt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nedim Müslim. The goal made the score 0-2. 64 minutes into the match, Gürün's goal looked a bit too open when Selami Regaip came free, but Seyfi Adar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Selami Regaip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahceköy SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Selami Regaip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seyfi Adar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mahmut Sara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfi Adar having to interfere. Gürün's Seyfi Adar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selami Regaip in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Mahmut Sara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyfi Adar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nedim Müslim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derviş Atasan in the 87th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gürün eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
