The Araban JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yavuz Selim Yorgun should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Bünyan JK booed when Araban JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mutlu Özsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yavuz Selim Yorgun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cankut Özilter in the 45th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cankut Özilter in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yavuz Selim Yorgun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Araban JK were furious when Kerem Karahan was red carded, 50 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pars Demircan to make the kick off.
