Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abbas Şafakgün started the match with the kick off. Barlas Ünsal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yıldıray Reyyan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Ilgaz JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selim Acaralp to maneuver through the defense. Barlas Ünsal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Reyyan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ilgaz JK's Barbaros Kaşif got a free kick in the 13th minute. Yıldıray Reyyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barlas Ünsal in the 16th minute of play. When Nebi Zafer fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selim SK's protests and gave Nebi Zafer a yellow card for diving instead. Nebi Zafer kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Barlas Ünsal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Batıhan Başbuğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldıray Reyyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okan Bahar scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Günalp Bucuk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yıldıray Reyyan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batıhan Başbuğ's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Barlas Ünsal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Okan Bahar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günalp Bucuk having to interfere. Yıldıray Reyyan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barlas Ünsal went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Batıhan Başbuğ to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Selim SK's goalkeeper Yıldıray Reyyan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barlas Ünsal. 58 minutes into the game, Selim SK's Abbas Şafakgün nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Günalp Bucuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 68 minutes into the game, Batıhan Başbuğ cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Yıldıray Reyyan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okan Bahar in the 75th minute of play forced Ilgaz JK's goalkeeper Günalp Bucuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ilgaz JK's Sabahattin Çol got a free kick in the 75th minute. Abbas Şafakgün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Abbas Şafakgün managed to get in a good position for a shot. Selim SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Abbas Şafakgün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Günalp Bucuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abbas Şafakgün struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Günalp Bucuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selim SK. Barlas Ünsal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Reyyan having to interfere. The Ilgaz JK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
