If Kuddusî Köklem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cemberlitas FK's Güneş Tezalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şafak Özgenc in the 5th minute of play. The referee gave Kocaköy JK a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aral Onuk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cemberlitas FK's Güneş Tezalp. 0-1. Karadeniz Çağman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güneş Tezalp having to interfere. Kuddusî Köklem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mehmet Çağrı Nebahattin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Kocaköy JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kuddusî Köklem came free, but Mehmet Çağrı Nebahattin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vahit Hadim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Çağrı Nebahattin having to interfere. Kocaköy JK's Mehmet Çağrı Nebahattin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Kocaköy JK from getting a goal against them. Güneş Tezalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şafak Özgenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karadeniz Çağman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cemberlitas FK's goalkeeper Güneş Tezalp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vahit Hadim got free with Mehmet Çağrı Nebahattin in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şafak Özgenc in the 41st minute of play forced Cemberlitas FK's goalkeeper Güneş Tezalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Kocaköy JK's Karadeniz Çağman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Güneş Tezalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vahit Hadim's late challenge caught a Kocaköy JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vahit Hadim helped the player get up and apologised. Vahit Hadim hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuddusî Köklem in the 47th minute of play forced Kocaköy JK's goalkeeper Mehmet Çağrı Nebahattin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kuddusî Köklem to make the kick off. Mehmet Çağrı Nebahattin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuddusî Köklem in the 52nd minute of the match. If Şafak Özgenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Çağrı Nebahattin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Çağrı Nebahattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuddusî Köklem in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Cemberlitas FK's goalkeeper Güneş Tezalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şafak Özgenc. Şafak Özgenc struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Güneş Tezalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kocaköy JK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karadeniz Çağman in the 84th minute of play forced Cemberlitas FK's goalkeeper Güneş Tezalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kuddusî Köklem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kocaköy JK's Ant Sarduç got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Şafak Özgenc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kocaköy JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
