After 13 played minutes Imranli got a freekick which was hit by Gencalp Sedat. 16 minutes into the match, Balcova JK's Abdi Satvet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fetih Kolçak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ataol Özbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tayfur Akdeniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Imranli's Fetih Kolçak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Satvet in the 24th minute of play. Tayfur Akdeniz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ataol Özbas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Ataol Özbas's late challenge caught a Balcova JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Vedat Hadim in the 71st minute of play forced Balcova JK's goalkeeper Tayfur Akdeniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fetih Kolçak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göksel Tanju in the 73rd minute.
