The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Şener Zade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arda Ozan Kayrahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şener Zade, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Şener Zade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute, one of Ceyhan JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ceyhan JK. Gökmen Çağlar shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behzat Bayındır in the 12th minute of play forced Ceyhan JK's goalkeeper Arda Ozan Kayrahan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferhan Bekir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Halit Ziya Yavuzalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Talimhane JK's Ferhan Bekir got control of the ball when Zühtü Polathan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Halit Ziya Yavuzalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ferhan Bekir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Halit Ziya Yavuzalp in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferhan Bekir saved Talimhane JK from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Şener Zade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talimhane JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Şener Zade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arda Ozan Kayrahan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th match minute, Talimhane JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Üzeyir Sebih to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

57 minutes into the match, Talimhane JK's goal looked a bit too open when Zühtü Polathan came free, but Ferhan Bekir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zühtü Polathan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Ceyhan JK's Halit Ziya Yavuzalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferhan Bekir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Şener Zade scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arda Ozan Kayrahan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Behzat Bayındır managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talimhane JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Behzat Bayındır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arda Ozan Kayrahan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Talimhane JK's Hamza Yezid got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Zühtü Polathan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talimhane JK's Ferhan Bekir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zühtü Polathan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute Behzat Bayındır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Ozan Kayrahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
