Tirebolu JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derbent SK the free kick. A collision led to Tirebolu JK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nihat Ongu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuna Uçar in the 29th minute of play forced Tirebolu JK's goalkeeper Aygün Tarab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ercan Bayramoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selmi Dirican, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Tirebolu JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fadıl İltekin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

Fadıl İltekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aygün Tarab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fadıl İltekin ran back to his position shaking his head. When Nuratay İskender came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Derbent SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuratay İskender couldn't finish the play. Selmi Dirican's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ercan Bayramoğlu firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 66 minutes, Polat İlcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tirebolu JK and the Derbent SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Polat İlcan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Derbent SK's Ercan Bayramoğlu got control of the ball when Selmi Dirican tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Fadıl İltekin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derbent SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fadıl İltekin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aygün Tarab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fadıl İltekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aygün Tarab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fadıl İltekin ran back to his position shaking his head. Mehmet Ediz Bilgen might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ercan Bayramoğlu. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tirebolu JK's goalkeeper Aygün Tarab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Derbent SK had played much better football throughout.
