Bahadır Kazak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Macit Özger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enver Vefai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Macit Özger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahadır Kazak having to interfere. A collision led to Amasyaspor getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Behçet İzzet hit a great ball. Derman Başaydın blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamdi Bakkalbaşıoğlu having to make a save. Atıf Elmacıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hamdi Bakkalbaşıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Atıf Elmacıoğlu made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Ali Macit Özger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bahadır Kazak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The long shot by Işık Ülküsel in the 62nd minute really tested Hamdi Bakkalbaşıoğlu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cankut Serkut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamdi Bakkalbaşıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atıf Elmacıoğlu in the 78th minute of play. Enver Vefai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamdi Bakkalbaşıoğlu having to make a save. When Behçet İzzet fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amasyaspor's protests and gave Behçet İzzet a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Behçet İzzet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Amasyaspor getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ramiz Özsahin hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Amasyaspor's goalkeeper Hamdi Bakkalbaşıoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enver Vefai. After 89 minutes of play Amasyaspor's Behçet İzzet was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Enver Vefai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamdi Bakkalbaşıoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Kücükyali's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
