Amasyaspor's Hamdi Bakkalbaşıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nihat İzzettin in the 4th minute of play. If Cankut Serkut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 11 minutes, Ali Macit Özger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amasyaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Macit Özger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute of the match Bora Ataner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamdi Bakkalbaşıoğlu skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Cay FK's Mustafa Numan Toker got a free kick in the 38th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Hakkı Özakıncı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cay FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hakkı Özakıncı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute, Hakkı Özakıncı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Macit Özger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Songurhan Temizkal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Cay FK's goal looked a bit too open when Cankut Serkut came free, but Songurhan Temizkal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hakkı Özakıncı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdi Bakkalbaşıoğlu having to interfere. Cankut Serkut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nihat İzzettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdi Bakkalbaşıoğlu having to interfere. Şenol Oncubay hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Nihat İzzettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Cay FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Macit Özger came free, but Songurhan Temizkal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cay FK's Mustafa Numan Toker got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Amasyaspor were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Cay FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Garip Sarıoğlu took the corner. Cankut Serkut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Songurhan Temizkal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cay FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
