The referee ignored Sason SK's protests and gave Sedat Özaltın a yellow card for diving instead. Sason SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ahmetli JK the free kick. Asaf Baltacı kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Sason SK's Ali Numan Durusoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Sason SK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ahmetli JK booed when Sason SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erman Alpman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Ahmetli JK got a freekick which was hit by Orçun Saltar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asaf Baltacı made a kick off. Ali Numan Durusoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çetin Necid's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 69th minute of the match Baskın Pınarbaşı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mithat Yalınalp skillfully saved the ball. Çetin Necid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kayhan Hallaçoğlu's late challenge caught a Ahmetli JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sason SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
