Selcuk's Alphan Serdinç got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alphan Serdinç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lokman Ruşen having to make a save. Aykut İsmihan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Selcuk getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Harun Ongay hit a great ball. Rüstem Baysal charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rüstem Baysal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Selcuk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rüstem Baysal to maneuver through the defense. When Saraybahce FK's Anıl Baran Sayılgan in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Selcuk's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Selcuk's Rüstem Baysal got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Ahmet Asım Hazlan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Selcuk's Bektaş Ali Yaves didn't even have to move. Baykam Pekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Selcuk getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Harun Ongay hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Haşim Sorgun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Haşim Sorgun made the kick off in the second half. Lokman Ruşen was a little too slow when Haşim Sorgun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-1. After having played for 61 minutes, Haşim Sorgun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selcuk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haşim Sorgun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Haşim Sorgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Harun Ongay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lokman Ruşen, 0-2. When Rüstem Baysal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Rüstem Baysal kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Baykam Pekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bektaş Ali Yaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bektaş Ali Yaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anıl Baran Sayılgan's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute, Alphan Serdinç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bektaş Ali Yaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Baran Sayılgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the game, Ahmet Tolga Kornes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saraybahce FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Selcuk the free kick. In the 84th minute, Ahmet Tolga Kornes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85thth minute of the game Alphan Serdinç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saraybahce FK's Lokman Ruşen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atabey Yesar charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atabey Yesar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Atabey Yesar hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Alphan Serdinç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Haşim Sorgun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Saraybahce FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Selcuk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
