When Mustafa Kemal Geylanoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tire SK's protests and gave Mustafa Kemal Geylanoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tire SK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mustafa Kemal Geylanoğlu hit a great ball. With a little luck, Tire SK's Mesut Hürsoy got control of the ball when Cihat Nurullah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haluk Ferikoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Affan Akkaş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haluk Ferikoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Affan Akkaş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haluk Ferikoğlu went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mesut Hürsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karadeniz Taybars in the 35th minute of play. Cenap Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Tire SK's Cenap Hadi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Affan Akkaş narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haluk Ferikoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Affan Akkaş came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Tire SK's Cenap Hadi. But to his dismay, Cenap Hadi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Ardanuc FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tire SK were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cenap Hadi to make the kick off. Ahmet Emir Eryiğit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cenap Hadi in the 53rd minute of play forced Ardanuc FK's goalkeeper Affan Akkaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Affan Akkaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenap Hadi in the 60th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Tire SK's goal looked a bit too open when Karadeniz Taybars came free, but Mesut Hürsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ardanuc FK's zone, Haluk Ferikoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Affan Akkaş came out of the goal and Haluk Ferikoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
