The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. İzzettin Öztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reha Eraltay in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Cudispor's goal looked a bit too open when Reha Eraltay came free, but İzzettin Öztan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Haşim Eryiğit kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Capa FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karahan Özonder was slow to take the kick. During this time Cudispor's players had a chance to rest. 41 minutes into the game, Onurhan İlker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cudispor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capa FK the free kick. Onurhan İlker hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enes Bayraktaroğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cudispor booed when Capa FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulaziz Hoyrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enes Bayraktaroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İzzettin Öztan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulaziz Hoyrat, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Ahmet Haşim Eryiğit's late challenge caught a Cudispor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reha Eraltay couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Capa FK defense, Kılıçhan Sökmener kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cevahir Günden. The Capa FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cevahir Günden should have stopped the shot. İzzettin Öztan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saruhan Türk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
