The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Karaisali JK's zone, Anıl Ozan Hazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Süreyya Yarlık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Cafer Çakır having to interfere. When Kadim Demirel fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karaisali JK's protests and gave Kadim Demirel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Kadim Demirel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necip Fazıl Zeynelabidin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Baran Bilge Seyhun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gökmen Başol came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Lacin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökmen Başol couldn't finish the play. Karaisali JK's Baran Bilge Seyhun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökmen Başol in the 18th minute of play. Lacin's Necip Fazıl Zeynelabidin got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Behiç Tuyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, Gökmen Başol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lacin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökmen Başol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baran Bilge Seyhun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökmen Başol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necip Fazıl Zeynelabidin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baran Bilge Seyhun having to interfere. Karaisali JK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Kutsi Tezel in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the Karaisali JK defense, Gökmen Başol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baran Bilge Seyhun. The Karaisali JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baran Bilge Seyhun should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Süreyya Yarlık fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ali Cafer Çakır, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İshak Sipahi in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Cafer Çakır saved Lacin from getting behind. Gökmen Başol scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baran Bilge Seyhun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

56 minutes into the match, Karaisali JK's Süreyya Yarlık sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Cafer Çakır narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baran Bilge Seyhun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necip Fazıl Zeynelabidin in the 59th minute. Süreyya Yarlık might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Cafer Çakır. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Süreyya Yarlık ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Süreyya Yarlık managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karaisali JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Süreyya Yarlık was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Cafer Çakır breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karaisali JK's Baran Bilge Seyhun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Karaisali JK from getting a goal against them. Lacin's Ali Cafer Çakır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Süreyya Yarlık in the 67th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Buğrahan Dafi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baran Bilge Seyhun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 88 minutes in the game, Gökmen Başol fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Baran Bilge Seyhun having to interfere. Gökmen Başol might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baran Bilge Seyhun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gökmen Başol ran back to his position shaking his head. Süreyya Yarlık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Cafer Çakır having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lacin had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
