The Yigilca SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Yigilca SK's Baysal Akkoç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Üzeyir Kahveci in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Üzeyir Kahveci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baysal Akkoç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Üzeyir Kahveci fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Baysal Akkoç, passed just outside the right post. Behlül Tayfun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onur Ali Kadim's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Sütlüce's Vecdi Ahsen got a free kick in the 44th minute. Tahir Şanver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Behlül Tayfun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tahir Şanver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Onur Ali Kadim came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Behlül Tayfun could save by the left post. Üzeyir Kahveci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baysal Akkoç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play.
