The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Vahdet Cerit made a precise shot to the right of Erdeniz Delioğlu. Ankaragücü FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Vahdet Cerit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erdeniz Delioğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Erdeniz Delioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahdet Cerit in the 21st minute of the match. Ahmet Orhan Ağaverdi in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cenap Kanat, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Incirliova's Vahdet Cerit in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kemal Şendoğan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erdeniz Delioğlu. Ankaragücü FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st minute, Vahdet Cerit made a precise shot to the right of Erdeniz Delioğlu. Ankaragücü FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ahmet Orhan Ağaverdis short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Cenap Kanat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Ankaragücü FK's Fethi Bakırcıoğlu got a free kick in the 44th minute. After taking down the ball on Incirliova's corner Cemalettin Acaröz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erdeniz Delioğlu quite easily take care of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sezgin Ulu made a kick off. Vahdet Cerit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Erdeniz Delioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ankaragücü FK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gazi Orhon hit a great ball. When Levent Serhun fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Incirliova's protests and gave Levent Serhun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Ankaragücü FK. Batu Cem Özerdal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cenap Kanat. 1-3. Ankaragücü FK's Erdeniz Delioğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Ankaragücü FK from getting a goal against them. Sakut Varan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erdeniz Delioğlu having to interfere. Doğuhan İmdat kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Erdeniz Delioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakut Varan in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 78th minute Ahmet Orhan Ağaverdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenap Kanat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vahdet Cerit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st match minute, Ankaragücü FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Battal Seyyit Acıbadem to maneuver through the defense. Ankaragücü FK's Erdeniz Delioğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Ankaragücü FK from getting a goal against them. In the 85th match minute, Ankaragücü FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Battal Seyyit Acıbadem to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Incirliova's Cemalettin Acaröz tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bedir Muhtar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ankaragücü FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Incirliova were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
