With a little luck, Arpacay JK's Cihan Sorgun got control of the ball when Temel Saru tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Ahirli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baki Özekan to maneuver through the defense. Temel Saru scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cihan Sorgun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baybars İlbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bayram Koray charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bayram Koray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ahirli SK booed when Arpacay JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayram Koray didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes Ahirli SK got a freekick which was hit by İlhan İncili. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sefa Vakkasoğlu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enginsu Azim saved Ahirli SK from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celal Kıvılcım during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Arpacay JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celal Kıvılcım to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Temel Saru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahirli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Temel Saru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cihan Sorgun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when İlhan İncili put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Ahirli SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arpacay JK:s goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Temel Saru was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Temel Saru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cihan Sorgun. Arpacay JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Temel Saru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 63 minutes into the game, Sefa Vakkasoğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enginsu Azim. Sefa Vakkasoğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Baybars İlbey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Enginsu Azim made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Temel Saru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahirli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Temel Saru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cihan Sorgun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baybars İlbey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Enginsu Azim made a huge save. Sefa Vakkasoğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enginsu Azim came out and tried to block the shot, but Sefa Vakkasoğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 87th minute. A collision led to Arpacay JK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Celal Kıvılcım hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Ahmet Emir Pekalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arpacay JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ahirli SK the free kick. The supporters of Ahirli SK booed when Arpacay JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Emir Pekalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Baybars İlbey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Enginsu Azim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Arpacay JK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ahirli SK.
