Fazlı Ergüvenç was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Bektaş Nesip capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bektaş Nesip really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Kücükköyspor's zone, Rıza Bayındır stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tahsin Acarbay came out of the goal and Rıza Bayındır tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rıza Bayındır in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tahsin Acarbay saved Kücükköyspor from getting behind. With his leg Fazlı Ergüvenç managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Kücükköyspor's Fuat Tüzün fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Ürgüp booed when Kücükköyspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yahya Özkut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kudret Balaban was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 19 minutes, Rıza Bayındır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ürgüp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rıza Bayındır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Hadi Reşan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hadi Reşan's late challenge caught a Kücükköyspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hadi Reşan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Ürgüp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hadi Reşan to maneuver through the defense. The audience cheered when Karadeniz Yörük's long shot passed Fazlı Ergüvenç's right side. It was 2-0, 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Rıza Bayındır cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tahsin Acarbay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 35 minutes, Rıza Bayındır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuat Tüzün in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fazlı Ergüvenç, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bektaş Nesip struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Fazlı Ergüvenç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kücükköyspor. In the 45th minute Anıl Ozan Şahsuvaroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahsin Acarbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bektaş Nesip made a kick off. The supporters of Kücükköyspor booed when Ürgüp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hadi Reşan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bektaş Nesip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fazlı Ergüvenç having to interfere. Rıza Bayındır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tahsin Acarbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anıl Ozan Şahsuvaroğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Tahsin Acarbay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Anıl Ozan Şahsuvaroğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tahsin Acarbay. Kücükköyspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anıl Ozan Şahsuvaroğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 77 played minutes Kücükköyspor got a freekick which was hit by Yahya Özkut. Ürgüp's Kudret Balaban couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kücükköyspor. Kücükköyspor were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Ürgüp's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karadeniz Yörük took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ürgüp's goalie and right to Mehmet Anıl Togan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ürgüp's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Fuat Tüzün came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Kücükköyspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fuat Tüzün couldn't finish the play. Kücükköyspor's Tahsin Acarbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıza Bayındır in the 94th minute of play. Anıl Ozan Şahsuvaroğlu struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tahsin Acarbay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ürgüp.
