In the 8th minute of the match Ulu Ağaverdi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faruk Vahit skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdulkadir Kurboga during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Doğuhan Yanar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Güngören fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Berk Üstünbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Doğuhan Yanar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faruk Vahit was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Hakan Orbay to make the kick off. Güngören's Berkan Şahdar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercan Orgun in the 56th minute of play. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
