Alkan Aliyar made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Müslüm İlkin sent off a good shot on target. Sancarbey Akyüz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cankut Sazak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Gölbasi got a freekick which was hit by Berkay Tolunay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Şıran in the 14th minute of play forced Gölbasi's goalkeeper Cankut Sazak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Mustafa Kemal Dirican was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gölbasi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talas the free kick. Mustafa Kemal Dirican kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gölbasi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Korcan Semir was slow to take the kick. During this time Talas's players had a chance to rest. In the 21st match minute, Gölbasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Müslüm İlkin to maneuver through the defense. Hasret Albay kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Talas's Korcan Semir tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, Gölbasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasret Albay to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Bedri Savaş struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cankut Sazak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talas. A collision led to Gölbasi getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mustafa Kemal Dirican hit a great ball. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gölbasi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Korcan Semir was slow to take the kick. During this time Talas's players had a chance to rest. After the first half Talas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Akif Demirer was the one to do the kick off. Gölbasi's Müslüm İlkin got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Mehmet Akif Demirer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkan Aliyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gölbasi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Sancarbey Akyüz scored to the left of an out of position Cankut Sazak, making the score, 0-2. In the 76th minute Enis Hicab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkan Aliyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Talas's goal looked a bit too open when Müslüm İlkin came free, but Alkan Aliyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aziz Şıran came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Talas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aziz Şıran couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Mehmet Akif Demirer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkan Aliyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alemdar İlkan's late challenge caught a Gölbasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alemdar İlkan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Talas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alemdar İlkan to maneuver through the defense. Talas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
