Enginalp Ayıkoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nurtekin Kayrak in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Ali Koçaslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nurtekin Kayrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bozyazi JK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bahattin Uyguralp hit a great ball. If Saruhan Temel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Recep Talha Taymaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdullah Suerdem went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Eray Uğursal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bozyazi JK's zone, Abdullah Suerdem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Recep Talha Taymaz came out of the goal and Abdullah Suerdem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Recep Talha Taymaz made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Abdullah Suerdem sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Bozyazi JK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Anıl Berk Ceberut hit a great ball. If Abdullah Suerdem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bozyazi JK's Koray Rafi got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eray Uğursal to strike the kick off in the second half. Recep Talha Taymaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saruhan Temel's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. If Saruhan Temel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nurtekin Kayrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Enginalp Ayıkoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Hakan Hekim kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match, Koray Rafi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enginalp Ayıkoğlu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Saruhan Temel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Eray Uğursal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enginalp Ayıkoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selami Ayyıldız couldn't finish the play. Sultanahmet JK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
