Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cennet SK's Abdulvahit Türkmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devlet Toktuğ in the 5th minute of play. If Nejat Alp Rasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdulvahit Türkmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlet Toktuğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Yıldırım Mukaddes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cennet SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yıldırım Mukaddes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vecdi Ekiner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yavuz Selimhan İskandil hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Hami Eraslan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cennet SK's Abdulvahit Türkmen. Abdulvahit Türkmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laleli's Vecdi Ekiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldırım Mukaddes in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Laleli's zone, Yıldırım Mukaddes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vecdi Ekiner came out of the goal and Yıldırım Mukaddes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Laleli's Atahan Rıza got a free kick in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yıldırım Mukaddes in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vecdi Ekiner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cennet SK's Yıldırım Mukaddes in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laleli's goalie prevented a goal. Vecdi Ekiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuhan İnan in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Devlet Toktuğ stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Devlet Toktuğ made a precise shot to the right of Abdulvahit Türkmen. Cennet SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Doğuhan İnan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 68 minutes into the match, Cennet SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hami Eraslan came free, but Abdulvahit Türkmen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cennet SK's zone, Hami Eraslan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulvahit Türkmen came out of the goal and Hami Eraslan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vecdi Ekiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yıldırım Mukaddes in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Laleli defense, Yıldırım Mukaddes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vecdi Ekiner. The Laleli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vecdi Ekiner should have stopped the shot. Laleli's Hami Eraslan got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdulvahit Türkmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hami Eraslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Doğuhan İnan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vecdi Ekiner having to interfere.
