In the 5th minute Marmara SK were awarded a corner. Yetkin İpçi went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marmara SK's goalkeeper Haşim Atikoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Manavgat FK's zone, Turan İzgü stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kutlay Toktuğ came out of the goal and Turan İzgü tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Vatan Öztunç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manavgat FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vatan Öztunç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Turan İzgü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutlay Toktuğ having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Vatan Öztunç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marmara SK's Haşim Atikoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marmara SK's zone, Vatan Öztunç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haşim Atikoğlu came out of the goal and Vatan Öztunç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Balamir Hafızoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esen Mutlugün succeeded in the game's 35th minute to get real power on a long shot . Marmara SK's Haşim Atikoğlu hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! Turan İzgü blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kutlay Toktuğ having to make a save. A collision led to Manavgat FK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Kaan Baler hit a great ball. Turan İzgü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vatan Öztunç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Manavgat FK's goal looked a bit too open when Turan İzgü came free, but Kutlay Toktuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balamir Hafızoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Haşim Atikoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 63rd minute when Balamir Hafızoğlu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 66th minute Turan İzgü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kutlay Toktuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turan İzgü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes, Köksal Keramettin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marmara SK and the Manavgat FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Manavgat FK booed when Marmara SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Köksal Keramettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Manavgat FK's Vatan Öztunç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haşim Atikoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Turan İzgü struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Kutlay Toktuğ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marmara SK. Vatan Öztunç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute, Hikmet Mengübay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaan Baler kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
