With an all-out effort, Polonezköy SK's Mustafa Hamit Kerim threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Güral Yürüker, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 30 minutes of play Polonezköy SK's Atay Ülmen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 37 minutes of play, Mahmudiye SK's Behçet Vefik made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Gökalp Tokuş was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 57 minutes, Hakkı Onur Kızılateş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mahmudiye SK and the Polonezköy SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mustafa Hamit Kerim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mahmudiye SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
