Azim Vedatoğulları recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Seferihisar FK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bedirhan Öztürk hit a great ball. Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Edirne's Sungurhan Saim got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Bedirhan Öztürk charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bedirhan Öztürk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
After a defensive mix-up in Seferihisar FK's zone, Azim Vedatoğulları stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evren Suhan came out of the goal and Azim Vedatoğulları tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Edirne's goal looked a bit too open when Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu came free, but Selçuk Barlas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Babür Timurkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Selçuk Barlas made a huge save. Baran Aygüneş kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Evren Suhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldıray Tunçbilek in the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Edirne getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Vehdi Şeref hit a great ball. If Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
