The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tansu Doğay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atak Balcı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Akcakoca's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Seyfi Tuğsavaş came free, but Hidayet Çeliksu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haşmet Kutlug got free with Hidayet Çeliksu in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hidayet Çeliksu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orhan Seyfi Tuğsavaş's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Orhan Seyfi Tuğsavaş dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hidayet Çeliksu, 1-0. In the 24th minute, Atak Balcı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Necaettin Çavlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tansu Doğay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Atak Balcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Necaettin Çavlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atak Balcı took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tansu Doğay. Tansu Doğay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Akcakoca's Necaettin Çavlı in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Akköy JK's goalie prevented a goal. Akköy JK's Tansu Doğay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atak Balcı in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Akcakoca getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Boran Onaran hit a great ball. Haşmet Kutlug was extremely unlucky when he, in the 50th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Haşmet Kutlug got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atak Balcı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hidayet Çeliksu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orhan Seyfi Tuğsavaş's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Haşmet Kutlug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hidayet Çeliksu came out of the goal and Orhan Seyfi Tuğsavaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atak Balcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Necaettin Çavlı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Orhan Seyfi Tuğsavaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Arda Ozan Boztepe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Akcakoca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akköy JK the free kick. Arda Ozan Boztepe kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Hidayet Çeliksu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Seyfi Tuğsavaş in the 97th minute of the match.
