Tümer Niğdeli really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Mobella SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tümer Niğdeli came free, but Edip Gümüşcü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tümer Niğdeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Mobella SK's Ahmet Haşim Salat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cihan Rıfkı narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cihan Rıfkı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güner Denizalp in the 44th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tümer Niğdeli to make the kick off. Cihan Rıfkı was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Malatya's zone, Birdal Şölen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cihan Rıfkı came out of the goal and Birdal Şölen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Malatya's Cihan Rıfkı got control of the ball when Birdal Şölen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Birdal Şölen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cihan Rıfkı, 2-2. 87 minutes into the match, Malatya's goalkeeper Cihan Rıfkı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birdal Şölen. Güner Denizalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cihan Rıfkı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birdal Şölen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
