Ahmet Haşim Salat charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Haşim Salat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 6 minutes into the match, Mobella SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kaan Hisarcık came free, but Edip Gümüşcü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mobella SK's Güner Denizalp got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Behzat Adanır charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Behzat Adanır the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mobella SK's Edip Gümüşcü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaan Hisarcık in the 13th minute of play. Edip Gümüşcü made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaan Hisarcık in the 23rd minute of play. When Kaan Hisarcık came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Genclerbirligi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaan Hisarcık couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Erim Eraslan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edip Gümüşcü. Mobella SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erim Eraslan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Birdal Şölen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Semavi Gürler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Ege Cebe had to leave the field with a concussion. When Kaan Hisarcık fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Genclerbirligi SK's protests and gave Kaan Hisarcık a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Genclerbirligi SK's Semavi Gürler got control of the ball when Birdal Şölen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erim Eraslan struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Edip Gümüşcü didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Genclerbirligi SK. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erim Eraslan to strike the kick off in the second half. Semavi Gürler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birdal Şölen in the 53rd minute of the match. When Ahmet Haşim Salat was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. A collision led to Mobella SK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ahmet Haşim Salat hit a great ball. Erim Eraslan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Edip Gümüşcü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erim Eraslan in the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Erim Eraslan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genclerbirligi SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erim Eraslan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Mobella SK's goal looked a bit too open when Erim Eraslan came free, but Edip Gümüşcü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Erim Eraslan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 79 minutes into the game, Gündüz Oyanalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Genclerbirligi SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mobella SK the free kick. Gündüz Oyanalp hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Edip Gümüşcü made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erim Eraslan in the 83rd minute of play. Edip Gümüşcü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erim Eraslan in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Haydar Balamir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Birdal Şölen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mobella SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Birdal Şölen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Semavi Gürler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Gündüz Oyanalp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edip Gümüşcü. Gündüz Oyanalp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Genclerbirligi SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
