In the 3rd match minute, Eyüpspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aytunç Sargınal to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes Eyüpspor got a freekick which was hit by Ateş İslam. A hard shot 12 in the game by Ahmet Haşim Kadim from a close distance when the talented Müfit Ilgıt managed to make a qualified save. Tatvan's players were relieved. Nedim Şahistan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Ilgıt having to interfere. Tatvan's Müfit Ilgıt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Tatvan from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Haşim Kadim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Müfit Ilgıt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ediz Sarpkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sinan Karabulut having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Pars Coşkun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tatvan's supporters rose to their feet, but Pars Coşkun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sinan Karabulut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tatvan's Ediz Sarpkan in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eyüpspor's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th minute, Ediz Sarpkan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Ateş İslam's late challenge caught a Tatvan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ateş İslam helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Eyüpspor's Ateş İslam got a free kick in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Eyüpspor's goal looked a bit too open when Pars Coşkun came free, but Sinan Karabulut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Ateş İslam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tatvan's Müfit Ilgıt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedim Şahistan in the 48th minute of play.

Müfit Ilgıt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Haşim Kadim in the 52nd minute of the match. Nedim Şahistan struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Müfit Ilgıt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eyüpspor. 55 minutes into the match, Tatvan's goal looked a bit too open when Nedim Şahistan came free, but Müfit Ilgıt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Müfit Ilgıt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Haşim Kadim in the 57th minute of the match. Nedim Şahistan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Müfit Ilgıt having to make a save. Ediz Sarpkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Sinan Karabulut made a huge save. If Nedim Şahistan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Haşim Kadim in the 69th minute of play forced Tatvan's goalkeeper Müfit Ilgıt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pars Coşkun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ahmet Haşim Kadim came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Eyüpspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Haşim Kadim couldn't finish the play. Müfit Ilgıt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nedim Şahistan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nedim Şahistan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tatvan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
