Yavuzalp Dilşah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erbatur Saatçioğlu having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Şenel Kıvanç notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kayseri's Erbatur Saatçioğlu. Erbatur Saatçioğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Harran booed when Kayseri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğur Direnç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harran's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Oğuz Volkan scored to the left of an out of position Ufuk Resulhan, making the score, 1-1. Kayseri's Aygün Başoğlu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Harran. Kayseri's Erbatur Saatçioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şenel Kıvanç in the 22nd minute of play. Yavuzalp Dilşah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erbatur Saatçioğlu having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Birdal Aytolun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Şenel Kıvanç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harran fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Uğur Direnç came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Kayseri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uğur Direnç couldn't finish the play. Arif Cengiz Argun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Haydar Sadiray during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ali Haydar Sadiray kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half Harran were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Oğuz Volkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kayseri's supporters rose to their feet, but Oğuz Volkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ufuk Resulhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ufuk Resulhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuz Volkan in the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Arif Cengiz Argun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kayseri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Cengiz Argun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şenel Kıvanç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kayseri getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Uğur Direnç hit a great ball. Yavuzalp Dilşah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Erbatur Saatçioğlu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Kayseri's zone, Yavuzalp Dilşah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erbatur Saatçioğlu came out of the goal and Yavuzalp Dilşah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Utkan Sadri fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kayseri's protests and gave Utkan Sadri a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Kayseri got a freekick which was hit by Utkan Sadri. Şenel Kıvanç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Harran's goal looked a bit too open when Uğur Direnç came free, but Ufuk Resulhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Uğur Direnç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Kayseri booed when Harran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Haydar Sadiray didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yavuzalp Dilşah got free with Erbatur Saatçioğlu in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kayseri's Erbatur Saatçioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şenel Kıvanç in the 84th minute of play. If Yavuzalp Dilşah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavuzalp Dilşah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erbatur Saatçioğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Oğuz Volkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ufuk Resulhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arif Cengiz Argun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ufuk Resulhan having to interfere. Kayseri's Oğuz Volkan got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of Harran were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Kayseri side.
