Songur Sonalp hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Zekeriya Üstam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytunç Acaroğlu in the 11th minute of the match. Başar Özbilir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Başar Özbilir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bornova getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Aytunç Acaroğlu hit a great ball. If Songur Sonalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aytunç Acaroğlu in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zekeriya Üstam saved Hekimhan from getting behind. Zekeriya Üstam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Başar Özbilir in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hekimhan's Songur Sonalp got a free kick in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Hekimhan's Süleyman Toktamış sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cenk Bicanoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Başar Özbilir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bornova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Başar Özbilir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Süleyman Toktamış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hekimhan's zone, Aytunç Acaroğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zekeriya Üstam came out of the goal and Aytunç Acaroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Süleyman Toktamış received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cenk Bicanoğlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Süleyman Toktamış slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 62nd minute Polat Müfit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenk Bicanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Hekimhan fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Hekimhan's Alican Demiroğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Berker Rıza Pekiner's late challenge caught a Hekimhan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berker Rıza Pekiner helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Berker Rıza Pekiner. Zekeriya Üstam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aytunç Acaroğlu's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Alican Demiroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenk Bicanoğlu having to interfere. If Süleyman Toktamış had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alican Demiroğlu took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cenk Bicanoğlu. Cenk Bicanoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Alican Demiroğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cenk Bicanoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Hekimhan were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bornova for a fine match.
