The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gürün SK's Ataman Tavil got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Korkutalp Saik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Akgün Adıgün made a huge save. If Korkutalp Saik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akgün Adıgün made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Korkutalp Saik sent off a good shot on target. Atabek Ramazanoğulları stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ziya Tanaltan's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Korkutalp Saik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Korkutalp Saik was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 46th minute, Kamber Erdurmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korkutalp Saik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Akgün Adıgün made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Akgün Adıgün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ataman Tavil, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ziya Tanaltan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Seyhun Cespan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ziya Tanaltan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atabek Ramazanoğulları was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Korkutalp Saik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akgün Adıgün having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ataman Tavil in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akgün Adıgün prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ataman Tavil in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akgün Adıgün saved Hüyük from getting behind. Akgün Adıgün stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ataman Tavil's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. Cumali Ayaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
