Nafiz Nihat might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erdeniz Uzgoren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nafiz Nihat ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute, Nafiz Nihat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erdeniz Uzgoren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reşat Özbay in the 16th minute of play. Nafiz Nihat scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erdeniz Uzgoren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Osman Reyyan fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derbent SK's protests and gave Osman Reyyan a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Derbent SK got a freekick which was hit by Osman Reyyan. In the 81st minute, Ahmet Vefik Macit made a precise shot to the right of Akil Cerit. Orhangazi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 88th match minute, Derbent SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necdet Vefa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Reşat Özbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orhangazi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reşat Özbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ahmet Vefik Macit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Muhammet Özveri struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Akil Cerit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Derbent SK.
