After having played for 2 minutes, Ersan Cankan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pamukova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ersan Cankan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Varol Semim fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pamukova's protests and gave Varol Semim a yellow card for diving instead. Varol Semim hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ahmet Baki Çelikyay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sedat Nurbay went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Batıray Eymen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Batıray Eymen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Songurhan Hikmettin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sahinbey FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pamukova the free kick. A collision led to Sahinbey FK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Songurhan Hikmettin hit a great ball. Alpertunga Özerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lefter İlkutay in the 26th minute of the match. With his leg Ahmet Baki Çelikyay managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Sahinbey FK's Sedat Nurbay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute, Lefter İlkutay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pamukova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 40th minute, Altay İncel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pamukova's Lefter İlkutay in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sahinbey FK's goalie prevented a goal. Lefter İlkutay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 58th minute Sedat Nurbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Baki Çelikyay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lefter İlkutay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Alpertunga Özerman made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sahinbey FK's Altay İncel got a free kick in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Batıray Eymen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Baki Çelikyay was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. If Batıray Eymen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altay İncel's late challenge caught a Pamukova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Altay İncel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Sahinbey FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Altay İncel to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Sahinbey FK's Altay İncel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Baki Çelikyay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Lefter İlkutay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Alpertunga Özerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sahinbey FK's Alpertunga Özerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersan Cankan in the 97th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
