Arif Tugay Sezen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tayfun Ekiner's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 16th match minute, Cicekdagi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Fikret Hacıağa to maneuver through the defense. The Cicekdagi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 28th minute, Mahmut Tümel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Serik SK's Tayfun Ekiner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arif Tugay Sezen. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. Güvenç Hasanbeyli's late challenge caught a Serik SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güvenç Hasanbeyli helped the player get up and apologised. If Köksal Karakan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cicekdagi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Uğur Ilgınlı was slow to take the kick. During this time Serik SK's players had a chance to rest. Serik SK's Uğur Ilgınlı was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arif Tugay Sezen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mahmut Tümel to make the kick off. Tayfun Ekiner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Tugay Sezen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Emirhan Kargin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tayfun Ekiner struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Arif Tugay Sezen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serik SK. In the 99th minute of the match Tansel Tunçboğa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arif Tugay Sezen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Serik SK booed when Cicekdagi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ozan Özsevi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Cicekdagi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cicekdagi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
