After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karadeniz Ayana to make the kick off. Karadeniz Ayana struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Sancarbey Özkurt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Güzelyali. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tuncer Tan got free with Sancarbey Özkurt in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Vahdet Yaruk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vahdet Yaruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Metehan Yener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Baki Bozoğlu in the 75th minute of the match. Güzelyali's Metehan Yener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vahdet Yaruk in the 87th minute of play. When Onur Ali Safa fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güzelyali's protests and gave Onur Ali Safa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Güzelyali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onur Ali Safa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahdet Yaruk in the 92nd minute of play forced Güzelyali's goalkeeper Metehan Yener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
