In the 14th minute Levent Gülsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldırım Sermet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halil Can Özkurt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sedat Akgöze kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Sedat Akgöze charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sedat Akgöze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yıldırım Sermet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Hamza Sarbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Levent Gülsoy took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yıldırım Sermet. Yıldırım Sermet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ragıp Kamer made a kick off. Yıldırım Sermet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Necdet Cevar in the 53rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sedat Akgöze in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yıldırım Sermet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Sedat Akgöze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Dinar's Arman Başat tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Enes Alptekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dinar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Topkapi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dinar's Enes Alptekin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 68th match minute, Dinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaffar Ispartalı to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Nuratay Tibet sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dinar's Yıldırım Sermet didn't even have to move. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Topkapi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
