Arif Oğuz İrfanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Nasir Olgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dursunbey's Ferdi Salik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mürsel Akdemir in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Basmakci booed when Dursunbey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saip Helvacı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdi Salik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mürsel Akdemir in the 13th minute of play. If Mürsel Akdemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mürsel Akdemir's late challenge caught a Dursunbey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mürsel Akdemir helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 minutes, Temel Geçimoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basmakci and the Dursunbey players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ünal Mutluay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Oğuz İrfanoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Ahmet Nasir Olgun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Oğuz İrfanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Basmakci booed when Dursunbey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Poyraz Urangu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdi Salik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mürsel Akdemir showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. A collision led to Dursunbey getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Naim Tümerkin hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mürsel Akdemir made a kick off. Ünal Mutluay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led Dursunbey's Gencal Doğanay to fire away a dangerous shot which Arif Oğuz İrfanoğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dursunbey's Ünal Mutluay got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Dursunbey booed when Basmakci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gazanfer Boysan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Basmakci getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Şenol Demirer hit a great ball. Dursunbey's Sancarbey Işık suffered a sore thigh after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Kurtuluş Nedret charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurtuluş Nedret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kurtuluş Nedret hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Temel Geçimoğlu took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdi Salik. Ferdi Salik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Arif Oğuz İrfanoğlu made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Ünal Mutluay sent off a good shot on target. Ünal Mutluay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mürsel Akdemir came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Basmakci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mürsel Akdemir couldn't finish the play. Temel Geçimoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ferdi Salik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dursunbey players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Basmakci.
