The supporters of Samsat booed when Akcadag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağızhan Çevikcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bayezit Tongar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağdaş Kongurtay in the 9th minute of play. Kutalp Heybetli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özcan Nurullah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, Akcadag's Bayezit Tongar got control of the ball when Arif Memduh Kavaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Samsat's zone, Kutalp Heybetli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özcan Nurullah came out of the goal and Kutalp Heybetli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Çağrı Tanın took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özcan Nurullah. Özcan Nurullah dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çağdaş Kongurtay in the 33rd minute of play forced Akcadag's goalkeeper Bayezit Tongar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çağdaş Kongurtay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Bayezit Tongar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Kutalp Heybetli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akcadag's supporters rose to their feet, but Kutalp Heybetli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özcan Nurullah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th match minute, Samsat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halis Konuralp to maneuver through the defense. Çağrı Tanın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samsat's Özcan Nurullah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutalp Heybetli in the 40th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd match minute, Samsat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlyas Tolga Oral to maneuver through the defense. Özcan Nurullah acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cumali Boran. Kutalp Heybetli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özcan Nurullah having to interfere. Bayezit Tongar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çağdaş Kongurtay, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Samsat's Arif Memduh Kavaş got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serbülent Hacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Kaptan Karun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Akcadag's Bayezit Tongar didn't even have to move. Arif Memduh Kavaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayezit Tongar having to interfere. Babür Akçalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Çağrı Tanın recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Özcan Nurullah. Çağrı Tanın showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Özcan Nurullah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağrı Tanın in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Kutalp Heybetli made a precise shot to the right of Özcan Nurullah. Samsat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Akcadag supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Akcadag would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
