The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ercüment Tümenbay came out of the goal and Ahmet Çağrı Eyüp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gafur Özgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Altiparmak SK's goal looked a bit too open when Emirşah Seci came free, but Ercüment Tümenbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gafur Özgun in the 19th minute of play forced Bornova JK's goalkeeper Mirkelam Özver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tevfik Tuncel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirkelam Özver having to interfere. Gafur Özgun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Altiparmak SK's Ercüment Tümenbay got control of the ball when Ahmet Çağrı Eyüp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ercüment Tümenbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emirşah Seci in the 68th minute of play. Emirşah Seci scored 1-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercüment Tümenbay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Altiparmak SK's Ercüment Tümenbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emirşah Seci in the 75th minute of play. Emirşah Seci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercüment Tümenbay having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Ahmet Çağrı Eyüp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
