A collision led to Cay getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Selçuk Sakman hit a great ball. Erkut Horasan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Korkut Sulhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ziya Ramazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Karaisali JK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Vural İren hit a great ball. Savaş Talu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Metin Çağlar's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Yaşar Nuri Dilhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Savaş Talu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cay's zone, Ahmet Korkut Sulhi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ziya Ramazan came out of the goal and Ahmet Korkut Sulhi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ziya Ramazan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkut Horasan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karaisali JK's Erkut Horasan got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Karaisali JK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ayberk Şahiner hit a great ball. In the 41st minute of the match Ogün Özdurdu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Savaş Talu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Metin Çağlar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Savaş Talu having to make a save. 43 minutes into the match, Yaşar Nuri Dilhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Savaş Talu. Karaisali JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yaşar Nuri Dilhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Metin Çağlar was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Cay got a freekick which was hit by Coşkun Akçay. In the 53rd minute of the match Ayberk Şahiner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ziya Ramazan skillfully saved the ball. Savaş Talu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaşar Nuri Dilhan in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metin Çağlar in the 58th minute of play forced Karaisali JK's goalkeeper Savaş Talu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vural İren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Karaisali JK's Vural İren got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes, Yaşar Nuri Dilhan made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Karaisali JK's Savaş Talu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Savaş Talu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaşar Nuri Dilhan in the 76th minute of the match. If Ahmet Korkut Sulhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Savaş Talu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cay. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Cay were victorious despite being under pressure from Karaisali JK for much of the match.
