Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Necdet Terzioğlu started the match with the kick off. Ulvi Karabugra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktuğ Kıvanç having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Suphi Vala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gündogmus's supporters rose to their feet, but Suphi Vala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göktuğ Kıvanç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Cengiz Siret hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gökalp Ekabir sped through Gündogmus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Naim Baybora. After having played for 17 minutes, Suphi Vala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gündogmus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Suphi Vala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göktuğ Kıvanç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Suphi Vala's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Gökalp Ekabir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Naim Baybora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Gündogmus got a freekick which was hit by Zafer Doğangün. If Necdet Terzioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes, Zafer Doğangün mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gündogmus and the Sarköy SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Gündogmus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zafer Doğangün to maneuver through the defense. If Gökalp Ekabir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With splendid footwork Necdet Terzioğlu arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, Sarköy SK's Gökalp Ekabir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naim Baybora narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Suphi Vala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Göktuğ Kıvanç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Necdet Terzioğlu came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Sarköy SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necdet Terzioğlu couldn't finish the play. After having played for 48 minutes, Gökalp Ekabir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarköy SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökalp Ekabir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulvi Karabugra made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Gökalp Ekabir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarköy SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökalp Ekabir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Necdet Terzioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naim Baybora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haldun Vacip in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sarköy SK's Ahmet Hafiz Ilımlı got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulvi Karabugra in the 93rd minute of play forced Sarköy SK's goalkeeper Göktuğ Kıvanç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Sarköy SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ali Cengiz Siret fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Göktuğ Kıvanç made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Suphi Vala sent off a good shot on target. Gündogmus's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
