Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mehmet Halis Akçakoca got the match started through his kick off. Seyhun İlighan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Boran Revis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Bayram Uran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giresun FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayram Uran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Asrın İlhanoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arif Gaffar Durcan was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Mehmet Halis Akçakoca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mehmet Halis Akçakoca really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Emirhan Kutsoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Gaffar Durcan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emirhan Kutsoy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute Bayram Uran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boran Revis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asrın İlhanoğlu during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Asrın İlhanoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boran Revis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Seyhun İlighan went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arif Gaffar Durcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Halis Akçakoca in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Giresun FK's goalkeeper Arif Gaffar Durcan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arif Gaffar Durcan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Halis Akçakoca went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Emirhan Kutsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emirhan Kutsoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Arif Gaffar Durcan made a huge save.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Seyhun İlighan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Giresun FK's Seyhun İlighan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Boran Revis. Boran Revis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. When Emirhan Kutsoy came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Derbent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emirhan Kutsoy couldn't finish the play. Boran Revis made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Bayram Uran sent off a good shot on target. Emirhan Kutsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Gaffar Durcan having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Derbent got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Halis Akçakoca. Seyhun İlighan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haşmet Yazar hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Emirhan Kutsoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arif Gaffar Durcan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Emirhan Kutsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Gaffar Durcan having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
