Burç Visali struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Suavi Sureha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merinos. Burç Visalis short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Suavi Sureha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 9 minutes into the match, Eminönü's goalkeeper Suavi Sureha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Burç Visali. In the 10th minute Burç Visali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suavi Sureha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Eminönü's goal looked a bit too open when Birdal Uğurcan came free, but Suavi Sureha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Günay Özkoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Baran Ayazoğlu in the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Birol Ortan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eminönü's supporters rose to their feet, but Birol Ortan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Günay Özkoc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Günay Özkoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Baran Ayazoğlu in the 26th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Burç Visali's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Suavi Sureha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Birdal Uğurcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Suavi Sureha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Baran Ayazoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Merinos's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Baran Ayazoğlu came free, but Günay Özkoc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Hamdi Kutlucan's late challenge caught a Merinos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Hamdi Kutlucan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Merinos booed when Eminönü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. The tension between the Eminönü and the Merinos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eminönü's Suavi Sureha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burç Visali in the 97th minute of play.
