İnanç Yenbu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cumhur Erçivan having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Ahmet İlke Okbaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siverek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet İlke Okbaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yusuf Özpinar took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilmi Bülbül. Hilmi Bülbül dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A hard shot by Vahap Şafakgün from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Cumhur Erçivan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cumhur Erçivan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güntekin Özer in the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Yusuf Özpinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siverek's supporters rose to their feet, but Yusuf Özpinar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilmi Bülbül breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
