Hakkı Ulağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Neşat Atasan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peker Başel in the 32nd minute of play forced Menekse JK's goalkeeper Müfit Taci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vecdet Kuntay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Taci having to interfere. Okaner İlksel hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Peker Başel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute Vecdet Kuntay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müfit Taci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ege Refah charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ege Refah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Menekse JK got a freekick which was hit by Ege Refah. Vecdet Kuntay might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Müfit Taci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vecdet Kuntay ran back to his position shaking his head. Okaner İlksel's late challenge caught a Selcuklu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 43rd minute, one of Menekse JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Menekse JK.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peker Başel made a kick off. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Menekse JK's goalkeeper Müfit Taci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oğuzalp Özerek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Müfit Taci made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Vecdet Kuntay sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Selcuklu's Müfit Taci threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peker Başel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Uygur Canıtez tried in the game's 70th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Müfit Taci. An annoying self made goal, 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Menekse JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Selcuklu:s goal. Müfit Taci went to the wrong direction when Yavuz Eriş was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 77th match minute, Menekse JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ege Refah to maneuver through the defense. With splendid footwork Peker Başel arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-3 by the left pole in the game's 80th minute. Selcuklu's Gökhan Ankara got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Gökhan Ankara off the ground. Gökhan Ankara kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Gökçe Hicran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Merih Engintalay fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menekse JK's protests and gave Merih Engintalay a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Menekse JK's Merih Engintalay got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Vecdet Kuntay kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 99th minute, Hakkı Ulağ left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menekse JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
