An unexpectedly hard shot by Tugay Salman in the 11th minute of play forced Baklan SK's goalkeeper Süruri Tanbolat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Uğuralp Server had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Münir Açıkgöz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Abdi Saygın Merdan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Barlas Öksüz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Necdet Birge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barlas Öksüz having to interfere. When Battal Seyyit Baştuğ fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pehlivanköy JK's protests and gave Battal Seyyit Baştuğ a yellow card for diving instead. If Necdet Birge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tugay Salman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pehlivanköy JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tugay Salman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Süruri Tanbolat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uğuralp Server who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Barlas Öksüz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uğuralp Server got free with Barlas Öksüz in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Yaser Sağbilge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tugay Salman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Süruri Tanbolat having to interfere. Tugay Salman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Necdet Birge to make the kick off. Tugay Salman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uğuralp Server received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Barlas Öksüz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aybar Raci hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tugay Salman in the 72nd minute of play forced Baklan SK's goalkeeper Süruri Tanbolat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barlas Öksüz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uğuralp Server, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Tugay Salman made a precise shot to the right of Süruri Tanbolat. Baklan SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Yaser Sağbilge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pehlivanköy JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaser Sağbilge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Süruri Tanbolat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baklan SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Tugay Salman scored to the left of an out of position Süruri Tanbolat, making the score, 0-2. Pehlivanköy JK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
