Alphan Geçim's late challenge caught a Güce FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alphan Geçim helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Güce FK booed when Gülyali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphan Geçim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kamer Tokuztuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teoman Devan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Sadik in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Ümit Sadik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teoman Devan. Güce FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ümit Sadik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 27 played minutes Güce FK got a freekick which was hit by Serhat Tecimer. Ümit Sadik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Teoman Devan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güce FK's Suat Özdoğan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 32 minutes in the game, fortunately Karadeniz Canser had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 34th minute Güce FK were awarded a corner. Gökay Rüstem went to the cornerflag to take it. Kamer Tokuztuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Gülyali's Kamer Tokuztuğ sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teoman Devan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teoman Devan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kamer Tokuztuğ went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Güce FK's Teoman Devan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ümit Sadik in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ümit Sadik made the kick off in the second half. If Ahmet Refik Kazak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes Güce FK got a freekick which was hit by Azim Kebir. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ümit Sadik in the 60th minute of play forced Güce FK's goalkeeper Teoman Devan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Suat Özdoğan in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karadeniz Canser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gülyali's Karadeniz Canser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Suat Özdoğan in the 64th minute of play. Suat Özdoğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Karadeniz Canser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suat Özdoğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karadeniz Canser having to interfere. Karadeniz Canser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Refik Kazak in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Suat Özdoğan in the 83rd minute of play forced Gülyali's goalkeeper Karadeniz Canser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Suat Özdoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Suat Özdoğan came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Güce FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Suat Özdoğan couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Alphan Geçim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Refik Kazak in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karadeniz Canser saved Gülyali from getting behind. Kamer Tokuztuğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Teoman Devan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gülyali walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
