Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sacit Serhun got the match started through his kick off. Boğaç Salar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gündüz Asır took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sacit Serhun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kirikkale:s Gündüz Asır showed great skill when he stopped Alp Tetiker:s penalty. Gündüz Asır made an important save on a dangerous shot by Macit Doğu in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Kirikkale defense, Sacit Serhun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gündüz Asır. The Kirikkale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gündüz Asır should have stopped the shot. Boğaç Salar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vecdet Özçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Uluç Masuk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aksoy FK's Vecdet Özçin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sacit Serhun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gündüz Asır having to interfere. Aksoy FK's Vecdet Özçin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uluç Masuk in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Kirikkale's Gündüz Asır got control of the ball when Reis Yıldırımtürk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Sacit Serhun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aksoy FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sacit Serhun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gündüz Asır breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uluç Masuk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reis Yıldırımtürk might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gündüz Asır. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reis Yıldırımtürk ran back to his position shaking his head. Gündüz Asır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sacit Serhun, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Macit Doğu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Sacit Serhun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gündüz Asır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Macit Doğu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gündüz Asır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Aksoy FK booed when Kirikkale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boğaç Salar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kirikkale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Macit Doğu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 83rd minute Günalp Dikmen suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 83 minutes, Sacit Serhun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aksoy FK and the Kirikkale players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Aksoy FK got a freekick which was hit by Sacit Serhun. Vecdet Özçin came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Kirikkale's Boğaç Salar. But to his dismay, Boğaç Salar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Boğaç Salar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vecdet Özçin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Aksoy FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
